The 'Staycation' vs 'Vacation' Collection

The Staycation Collection is a capsule range of special colourways inspired by some of the truly beautiful places I've been on UK holidays. A set of four colourways, designed to work perfectly together, each one draws from the landscape, history or feelings the place leaves you with.
The first edition of this collection celebrates the magical Tintagel Castel site, somewhere I first visited 20 years ago, and have returned to many times since. The wild remoteness of the site, the history (any myths), the ruins, it all just captures my imagination!
Travel is something the Yarn Unique family loves and, whilst there is so much of the world yet to explore, what began as a collection to celebrate some of our most memorable ‘Staycations’ in the UK quickly evolved into a dual collection where our ‘Vacations’ further afield also inspired our yarn!
The first edition of the Staycation Collection is taken from my most recent trip, a wonderful holiday exploring the delightful town of Collioure. A colourful and vibrant Catalan town nestled between Pyrenees and the Med, surrounded by terraced vineyards, overlooked by hilltop castles.
