Château Royal

The Staycation Collection is the second half of a new line of capsule collection yarns, dyed over our favourite bases.  Travel is something the Yarn Unique family loves, and whilst there is so much of the world yet to explore, some of the places we have been to have both amazed me, and stuck with me long after we left.  What began as a collection to celebrate some of our most memorable ‘Staycations’ in the UK quickly evolved into a dual collection where our ‘Vacations’ further afield were also immortalised into yarn!
 
The first edition of the Staycation Collection is taken from my most recent trip, a wonderful holiday exploring parts of France’s Languedoc and Roussillon region, specifically focusing on the delightful town of Collioure.  A colourful and vibrant town nestled between the Pyrenes and the Med, surrounded by terraced vineyards and overlooked by hilltop castles. 
 
This colourway is a soft and delicate neutral, using tones found around the Château Royal de Collioure.  Cool stone tones blend with pale terracotta, making a warm pale yarn which is idea for any project, and works perfectly with the whole collection.
