Merlins Cave

The Staycation Collection is a capsule range of special colourways inspired by some of the truly beautiful places I've been on UK holidays. A set of four colourways, designed to work perfectly together, each one draws from the landscape, history or feelings the place leaves you with.
 
The first edition of this collection celebrates the magical Tintagel Castel site, somewhere I first visited 20 years ago, and have returned to many times since. The wild remoteness of the site, the history (any myths), the ruins, it all just captures my imagination!
 
The darkest of the collection, 'Merlins Cave' is a mossy green heavily glazed with inky black and charcoal.  The whole area is steeped in Arthurian legend, with a particular cave below Tintagel tipped to be the home of Merlin many years ago.  Whether you subscribe to that theory or not, the whole area has a long history and you can feel the magic when you're there!
