Triffid Nightmare: Starry Sock

We do love a good strong neon at Yarn Unique, and one cloudy morning in the studio felt like a perfect time to reimagine the neon collection!
 
Triffids (perhaps inspired by the overgrown garden I see through the studio window), crazy, bright, imaginary, seemed like a great way to add some super bright splashes of colour and so the Triffid Collection was born!
 
Triffid Nightmare is a darker offering!  A saturated violet purple, this UV shade glows gently under blacklight with a vivid pop of warm gold! 
 
Dyed in U.V. reactive colours this colourway is sure to pop and make you stand out, and the placement of the pops of contrasting colour is perfect for planned pooling projects!
 
Starry Sock is our beautiful sparkle base.  75% superfine Superwash Merino and 20% Nylon for strength with 5% Lurex plied through for a perfect sparkle in every stitch!  400m per 100 grams makes this a perfect 4/ply/fingering weight yarn.
